Ingredients

  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 3/4 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 1/2 cups white sugar
  • 4 eggs, beaten
  • 1 1/2 cups raisins
  • 1/2 cup milk

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease and flour two 9x5 inch loaf pans.
  2. In a large bowl, mix together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt and cinnamon.
  3. In a separate bowl, mix together the oil, sugar, eggs, raisins and milk.
  4. Add wet ingredients to dry ingredients and mix until just combined.
  5. Pour batter into prepared pans and bake for 30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center of the loaf comes out clean.
  6. Cool in pans for 10 minutes before removing to cool completely on a wire rack.
