Ingredients
1 cup all-purpose flour
½ teaspoon baking soda
¼ teaspoon salt
½ cup butter, melted
¾ cup brown sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 tablespoons ground cinnamon
1 cup chopped walnuts
1 cup rolled oats
Directions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease an 8x8 inch baking pan.
In a medium bowl, stir together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.
In a large bowl, mix together the melted butter, brown sugar, and vanilla until smooth.
Stir in the flour mixture until just blended. Spread the dough into the prepared baking pan.
In a separate bowl, mix together the cinnamon, walnuts, and oats. Sprinkle this mixture over the top of the dough.
Bake for 25 to 30 minutes in the preheated oven, or until the top is lightly browned. Allow to cool before cutting into bars.
