Ingredients
- 1/2 cup butter, melted
- 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
- 3/4 cup light brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 3/4 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup chopped peanuts
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
- In a large bowl, cream together the butter and peanut butter. Beat in the brown sugar and vanilla until light and fluffy. Beat in the eggs one at a time.
- In a small bowl, combine the flour, baking powder and salt; stir into the creamed mixture until well blended.
- Stir in the chocolate chips and peanuts. Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls onto ungreased baking sheet.
- Bake for 12 to 15 minutes in the preheated oven, or until golden brown on the bottom. Allow cookies to cool on baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
