Ingredients
- 1 unbaked 9 inch pie shell
- 1/2 cup butter, melted
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 3/4 cup light corn syrup
- 3 eggs, slightly beaten
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1/4 cup chopped nuts (optional)
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
- In a large bowl, mix together the melted butter, sugar, corn syrup, eggs, and vanilla.
- Stir in the chocolate chips and nuts. Pour mixture into the pie shell.
- Bake in preheated oven for 45 minutes, or until golden brown.
- Allow to cool before serving.
