Ingredients

  • 1 package of ready-made flour tortillas
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans
  • 1/2 cup mini marshmallows
  • Vegetable oil, for frying

Directions

  1. Melt the chocolate chips and butter in a double boiler or in the microwave.
  2. In a medium bowl, combine the melted chocolate mixture, brown sugar, cinnamon, and pecans.
  3. Spread the chocolate mixture onto each tortilla, leaving a 1-inch border around the edges.
  4. Sprinkle the marshmallows over the chocolate mixture.
  5. Carefully roll up the tortillas, making sure that the chocolate mixture does not spill out.
  6. Heat the oil in a deep fryer to 375 degrees Fahrenheit.
  7. Fry the chimichangas for about 3 minutes, or until golden brown.
  8. Drain the chimichangas on paper towels and serve warm.
