Ingredients
- 1 package of ready-made flour tortillas
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 cup chopped pecans
- 1/2 cup mini marshmallows
- Vegetable oil, for frying
Directions
- Melt the chocolate chips and butter in a double boiler or in the microwave.
- In a medium bowl, combine the melted chocolate mixture, brown sugar, cinnamon, and pecans.
- Spread the chocolate mixture onto each tortilla, leaving a 1-inch border around the edges.
- Sprinkle the marshmallows over the chocolate mixture.
- Carefully roll up the tortillas, making sure that the chocolate mixture does not spill out.
- Heat the oil in a deep fryer to 375 degrees Fahrenheit.
- Fry the chimichangas for about 3 minutes, or until golden brown.
- Drain the chimichangas on paper towels and serve warm.
