Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 1/4 cup chopped parsley
  • 1/4 cup chopped chives
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried basil
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup plain bread crumbs

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).
  2. In a medium bowl, combine butter, parsley, chives, garlic powder, onion powder, oregano, basil, paprika, salt, and pepper. Mix until well blended.
  3. Spread butter mixture onto each chicken breast, making sure to cover the entire surface. Place chicken breasts in a 9x13 inch baking dish.
  4. In a shallow bowl, mix together flour, eggs, and bread crumbs. Dip chicken breasts in the mixture, making sure to coat evenly.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for 30 minutes, or until chicken is no longer pink in the center and the juices run clear.
