Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup dry white wine
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup crumbled Gorgonzola cheese

Directions

  1. Heat the oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Season the chicken cubes with salt and pepper, then toss them in the flour to coat.
  3. Add the chicken to the hot oil and cook until golden brown, about 5 minutes.
  4. Add the white wine and chicken broth and bring to a simmer.
  5. Reduce the heat to low and add the cream and Gorgonzola cheese. Simmer for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  6. Serve over hot cooked pasta or rice.
