Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 4 eggs, beaten
  • 2 cups milk
  • 4 tablespoons melted butter

Directions

  1. Preheat the oven to 450 degrees F (230 degrees C). Grease a 12-cup muffin tin.
  2. In a large bowl, mix together the flour, baking powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. Add the eggs, milk, and melted butter and mix until smooth.
  4. Fill each cup of the muffin tin with the batter and bake for 15 minutes.
  5. Reduce the oven temperature to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) and bake for an additional 20 minutes.
  6. Remove from the oven and serve hot.
