2 lbs of boneless skinless chicken tenders or breast
1 cup of all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon of garlic powder
1 teaspoon of onion powder
1 teaspoon of paprika
1 teaspoon of salt
1 teaspoon of black pepper
1 cup of buttermilk
2 tablespoons of melted butter
Oil for frying
Directions
In a shallow bowl, combine the flour, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Stir with a fork to combine.
In a separate bowl, mix together the buttermilk and the melted butter.
Working with one piece at a time, dip the chicken tenders or breast into the buttermilk mixture and then into the seasoned flour mixture. Make sure to coat both sides evenly with the flour mixture.
Heat the oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Once the oil is hot, add in the chicken and fry for about 5 minutes per side or until golden brown and cooked through.
Remove the chicken from the skillet and place on a plate lined with paper towels to absorb the excess oil.
