Ingredients
- 4 large potatoes, peeled and diced
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 2 cups chicken broth
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup heavy cream

- Salt and pepper to taste
Directions
- Add the potatoes, onion, garlic powder and chicken broth to a slow cooker and cook on low for 6-8 hours.
- In a separate pot, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the flour and whisk until combined.
- Gradually add the heavy cream and whisk until smooth. Add the cheese and stir until melted.
- Add the cream mixture to the slow cooker and stir until combined. Cook on low for an additional 1-2 hours.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste. Serve hot with your favorite toppings.
