Ingredients
- 1 can of full-fat coconut milk
- 1/4 cup of nutritional yeast
- 1/4 cup of tapioca starch
- 2 tablespoons of olive oil
- 1 teaspoon of onion powder
- 1 teaspoon of garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon of sea salt
- 1/2 teaspoon of turmeric powder
- 1/2 teaspoon of paprika
- 1/4 teaspoon of black pepper
- 3 tablespoons of freshly-squeezed lemon juice
Directions
- In a medium saucepan, heat the coconut milk over medium heat until it begins to simmer. Reduce heat to low.
- Add the nutritional yeast, tapioca starch, olive oil, onion powder, garlic powder, sea salt, turmeric powder, paprika, and black pepper to the pan and whisk until combined.
- Continue stirring for about 5 minutes until the sauce thickens.
- Add the lemon juice and stir for another minute.
- Remove from heat and serve warm over your favorite dish.
