Ingredients
1 head cauliflower, cut into florets
2 tablespoons butter
1/4 cup all-purpose flour
2 cups milk
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
Directions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
Bring a large pot of water to a boil. Add cauliflower, reduce heat, and cook for 5 minutes or until tender. Drain and set aside.
In a large saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Stir in flour and cook, stirring constantly, for 1 minute or until bubbly.
Gradually whisk in milk, garlic powder, salt, pepper, and nutmeg. Cook, stirring constantly, for 5 minutes or until thickened and bubbly.
Remove from heat and stir in cheddar cheese. Add cooked cauliflower and stir until evenly coated.
Pour mixture into a 9x13-inch baking dish and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese. Bake for 15 minutes or until cheese is melted and bubbly.
Serve hot.
