Ingredients
- 1/2 cup butter, softened
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup finely chopped walnuts
- 1/4 cup confectioners' sugar, for rolling
Directions
- In a medium bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
- Stir in the vanilla extract.
- Gradually add the flour, stirring until well blended.
- Stir in the chopped walnuts.
- Shape the dough into 1-inch balls and place on an ungreased baking sheet.
- Bake at 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) for 12 minutes.
- Roll the balls in confectioners' sugar while still warm.
- Let cool before serving.
