Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 cup diced onion
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup diced celery
  • 1 cup diced carrots
  • 1 cup cooked chicken, shredded
  • 1/2 cup buffalo sauce
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper

Directions

  1. In a large pot, heat olive oil over medium-high heat.
  2. Add diced onion and garlic and sauté for 2-3 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  3. Add chicken broth, celery, carrots, chicken, and buffalo sauce and bring to a boil.
  4. Reduce heat to low and simmer for 10 minutes.
  5. Stir in heavy cream and season with salt and pepper.
  6. Simmer for an additional 5 minutes.
  7. Serve hot.
