Ingredients

  • 1 pound Brussels sprouts, trimmed and halved
  • 4 slices bacon, diced
  • 1/4 cup dry sherry
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Directions

  1. Heat a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add the bacon and cook until crisp, about 5 minutes.
  3. Add the Brussels sprouts and cook until lightly browned, about 5 minutes.
  4. Stir in the sherry and cook until almost evaporated, about 3 minutes.
  5. Stir in the cream and garlic and cook until the sauce has thickened, about 5 minutes.
  6. Season with salt and pepper, to taste.
  7. Serve warm.
