Ingredients
- 500g boneless chicken, cut into cubes
- 2 tablespoons of oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 tablespoons of ginger-garlic paste
- 2 teaspoons of garam masala
- 2 teaspoons of red chilli powder
- 2 teaspoons of cumin powder
- 2 teaspoons of coriander powder
- 1 teaspoon of turmeric powder
- 1 teaspoon of sugar
- 1 cup of canned tomatoes, chopped
- 1/2 cup of water
- 1/4 cup of fresh coriander, chopped
- Salt to taste
Directions
- Heat oil in a pan over medium heat. Add garlic, onion, and ginger-garlic paste, and fry for 3 minutes.
- Add the chicken cubes and cook for 5 minutes.
- Add the garam masala, red chili powder, cumin powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder, and sugar, and fry for another 2 minutes.
- Add the canned tomatoes and fry for another 3 minutes.
- Add the water and bring to a boil. Simmer for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Garnish with fresh coriander and serve hot.
