Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 2 teaspoons freshly ground black pepper
  • 1/4 cup brandy
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 4 (6-ounce) steaks of your choice
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • Salt to taste

Directions

  1. In a small bowl, combine the olive oil, garlic, oregano, and pepper and mix until a paste is formed.
  2. In a separate bowl, mix together the brandy, Worcestershire sauce, and Dijon mustard.
  3. Coat the steaks on both sides with the oil mixture and place in a shallow dish.
  4. Pour the brandy mixture over the steaks and let sit for 20 minutes.
  5. In a large skillet over medium-high heat, melt the butter. Add the steaks and cook for 5 minutes per side, or until the steaks are cooked to your desired doneness.
