Ingredients
- 1 head of cabbage, cored and thinly sliced
- 1 onion, diced
- 3 strips of bacon, diced
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon of olive oil
- 1 teaspoon of salt
- 1/2 teaspoon of black pepper
- 1/4 cup of chicken broth
Directions
- In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat.
- Add the bacon and onion and cook until the bacon is crisp and the onions are softened, about 8 minutes.
- Add the garlic and cook for an additional minute.
- Add the cabbage and season with the salt and pepper.
- Stir in the chicken broth and bring to a simmer.
- Reduce the heat to low and cover the skillet. Simmer for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Serve warm.
