Ingredients
1 head of cabbage, cored and thinly sliced
1 onion, diced
3 strips of bacon, diced
2 cloves of garlic, minced
1 tablespoon of olive oil
1 teaspoon of salt
1/2 teaspoon of black pepper
1/4 cup of chicken broth
Directions
In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat.
Add the bacon and onion and cook until the bacon is crisp and the onions are softened, about 8 minutes.
Add the garlic and cook for an additional minute.
Add the cabbage and season with the salt and pepper.
Stir in the chicken broth and bring to a simmer.
Reduce the heat to low and cover the skillet. Simmer for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
