Ingredients
- 3 slices bacon
- 1/4 cup finely chopped onion
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 teaspoon dried basil
- 1/4 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 cups shredded lettuce
- 2 cups diced tomatoes
- 4 ounces uncooked linguine
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Directions
- Cook bacon in a large skillet over medium heat until crisp. Remove from pan and set aside.
- Add onion to the same skillet and cook until softened, about 5 minutes. Add garlic, basil, oregano, salt, and pepper and cook for another minute.
- Add lettuce and tomatoes and cook until lettuce is wilted, about 3 minutes.
- Meanwhile, cook linguine according to package directions.
- Combine bacon, lettuce, and tomato mixture with the cooked linguine and toss to combine.
- Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and serve.
