Ingredients

  • 4-5 pounds of beef short ribs
  • 1 large onion, diced
  • 2 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 1 can (28 oz) of crushed tomatoes
  • 1 can (14.5 oz) of beef broth
  • 1/2 cup of Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/4 cup of vodka
  • 1 tablespoon of hot sauce
  • 1 teaspoon of celery salt
  • 1 teaspoon of paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon of pepper

Directions

  1. Place the short ribs in a slow cooker.
  2. Add the onion, garlic, crushed tomatoes, beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, vodka, hot sauce, celery salt, paprika, and pepper.
  3. Stir to combine and cover the slow cooker. Cook on low for 8-10 hours.
  4. Once the ribs are cooked, remove them from the slow cooker and set aside.
  5. Skim off any excess fat from the sauce and adjust the seasoning, if desired.
  6. Return the short ribs to the slow cooker and cook for an additional 30 minutes.
  7. Serve the short ribs with the sauce and enjoy!
