Ingredients
- 1 cup ketchup
- 1/2 cup molasses
- 1/4 cup Worcestershire sauce
- 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
- 2 tablespoons dark brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons paprika
- 1 tablespoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon dry mustard
- 1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
Directions
- In a medium saucepan, combine the ketchup, molasses, Worcestershire sauce, apple cider vinegar, dark brown sugar, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, dry mustard, black pepper, and cayenne pepper.
- Bring the mixture to a boil over medium-high heat, stirring occasionally.
- Reduce the heat to low and simmer for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Remove the sauce from the heat and let it cool to room temperature.
- Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to two weeks.
