Ingredients
- 2 pounds chicken wings
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 1/2 cup cornstarch
- 1/2 cup water
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup rice vinegar
- 1/4 cup ketchup
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- 1 teaspoon freshly grated ginger
Directions
- Preheat air fryer to 400°F. In a large bowl, combine chicken wings, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Add cornstarch and toss to coat.
- In a small saucepan, whisk together water, brown sugar, rice vinegar, ketchup, soy sauce, sesame oil, and ginger. Heat over medium heat until boiling.
- Place chicken wings in air fryer basket and cook for 15 minutes, flipping wings halfway through cooking.
- Remove wings from air fryer and toss with sauce. Return wings to air fryer and cook for an additional 5 minutes.
- Serve wings with remaining sauce.
