Ingredients

  • 2 pounds chicken wings
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/2 cup cornstarch
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup rice vinegar
  • 1/4 cup ketchup
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1 teaspoon freshly grated ginger

Directions

  1. Preheat air fryer to 400°F. In a large bowl, combine chicken wings, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Add cornstarch and toss to coat.
  2. In a small saucepan, whisk together water, brown sugar, rice vinegar, ketchup, soy sauce, sesame oil, and ginger. Heat over medium heat until boiling.
  3. Place chicken wings in air fryer basket and cook for 15 minutes, flipping wings halfway through cooking.
  4. Remove wings from air fryer and toss with sauce. Return wings to air fryer and cook for an additional 5 minutes.
  5. Serve wings with remaining sauce.
