In a medium bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until smooth. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla. Combine the cocoa, salt, and flour; stir into the batter until well blended. Fold in the chocolate chips.
Spread evenly into the prepared pan. Bake for 25 to 30 minutes in the preheated oven. Edges should be slightly crispy. Brownies are done when toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
