Ingredients
- 1/2 cup butter, melted
- 1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
- 1/2 cup light corn syrup
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup chopped pecans
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 2 eggs
- 3/4 cup butter, softened
- 1/4 cup light corn syrup
- 1/4 cup chopped pecans
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease a 9x13-inch baking pan.
- In a medium bowl, combine melted butter, brown sugar, corn syrup, vanilla, flour, pecans, baking powder, salt, and sugar.
- Mix until crumbly.
- Press mixture into bottom of prepared pan. Bake for 18 minutes.
- In a large bowl, beat eggs, softened butter, corn syrup, and pecans until smooth.
- Pour mixture over baked crust.
- Bake for an additional 22 minutes, or until top is golden brown.
- Cool before cutting into bars.
