Ingredients
2 cups all-purpose flour
1/4 cup sugar
1 tablespoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 cup cold butter, cubed
1/2 cup buttermilk
1 tablespoon freshly grated lemon zest
2 tablespoons fresh dill, chopped
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Directions
Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a large bowl, mix together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt. Cut in the butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
Stir in the buttermilk, lemon zest, dill, and Parmesan cheese until just combined. Do not overmix.
Turn the dough out onto a lightly floured surface and knead for a few seconds until it comes together.
Pat the dough into a circle about 1/2 inch thick and cut into 8 wedges. Place the wedges on the prepared baking sheet.
Bake for 15 to 20 minutes, or until golden brown.
Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes before serving.
