Ingredients
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1/2 cup chopped onion
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon chili powder
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 cup BBQ sauce
- 4 hamburger buns
- 4 slices cheese (optional)
Directions
- In a large bowl, combine ground beef, onion, garlic powder, chili powder, cumin, salt, and pepper. Mix together with your hands until everything is combined.
- Form the mixture into 4 patties. Place the patties on a plate and cover with plastic wrap.
- Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the patties to the skillet and cook for 5 minutes on each side, or until cooked through.
- During the last minute of cooking, brush the patties with BBQ sauce and top with cheese (if desired).
- Serve the burgers on toasted buns with your favorite toppings.
