Ingredients

  • 1/2 pound ground beef
  • 1/2 pound ground pork sausage
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped onion
  • 1 tablespoon minced garlic
  • 1 teaspoon soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1/2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 1 package wonton wrappers
  • Vegetable oil for frying

Directions

  1. In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, sausage, onion, garlic, soy sauce, sesame oil, ginger, Worcestershire sauce, black pepper, and cayenne pepper. Mix the ingredients until they are fully combined.
  2. Lay out a wonton wrapper on a cutting board. Place a heaping teaspoon of the beef and sausage mixture in the center of the wonton wrapper.
  3. Dampen the edges of the wonton wrapper with water. Bring the opposite corners of the wrapper together and press to seal the wonton.
  4. Heat 1 inch of vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Fry the wontons in batches for 2-3 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy.
  5. Remove the wontons from the oil and drain on a paper towel-lined plate. Serve hot and enjoy!
