Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 1 (10.75 ounce) can condensed cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 (14.5 ounce) can beef broth
  • 1 (6 ounce) package egg noodles
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup bread crumbs
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).
  2. In a large skillet, cook the ground beef and onion over medium heat until beef is browned and onion is tender.
  3. Mix in the soup, broth, and egg noodles. Cook until noodles are tender.
  4. Remove from heat and stir in the sour cream and cheese.
  5. Spread the mixture into a 9x13 inch baking dish.
  6. In a small bowl, mix the bread crumbs with the melted butter. Sprinkle over the casserole.
  7. Bake 30 minutes in the preheated oven, or until top is golden brown.
