Ingredients

  • 1 pound lean ground beef
  • 1/2 cup diced onion
  • 1/2 cup diced bell pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1/2 cup barbecue sauce
  • 12 mini-tart shells

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.
  2. In a large skillet, cook the beef, onion, bell pepper, garlic powder, smoked paprika, black pepper, and salt over medium heat until the beef is cooked through.
  3. Drain any excess fat and stir in the barbecue sauce.
  4. Fill each mini-tart shell with the beef mixture and place on a baking sheet.
  5. Bake for 15 minutes or until the tart shells are golden brown.
  6. Serve warm.
