Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease a 9 inch round cake pan.
Arrange the banana slices on the bottom of the prepared pan. In a small bowl, mix together the melted butter, brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and allspice. Pour the mixture over the bananas.
In a large bowl, cream together the white sugar and egg until light and fluffy. Beat in the vanilla extract. In a separate bowl, sift together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually stir the flour mixture into the creamed mixture alternately with the sour cream. Pour the batter over the banana mixture.
Bake for 35 to 40 minutes in the preheated oven, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the cake comes out clean. Cool for 10 minutes before inverting onto a plate.
