Ingredients

  • 1 loaf of Babka, cut into 1-inch thick slices
  • 4 eggs
  • 1/2 cup of milk
  • 1 teaspoon of cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon of nutmeg
  • 1/4 teaspoon of vanilla extract
  • 2 tablespoons of butter
  • 1/2 cup of semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1/4 cup of heavy cream

Directions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
  2. In a shallow bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, cinnamon, nutmeg, and vanilla extract.
  3. Dip the slices of Babka into the egg mixture and let them sit for a few minutes to absorb the liquid.
  4. Melt the butter in a large skillet over medium heat and add the soaked Babka slices. Cook for 2-3 minutes on each side, or until golden brown.
