  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 packet taco seasoning mix
  • 1 can refried beans
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup salsa
  • 1 cup shredded Mexican cheese blend
  • 1 cup shredded lettuce
  • 1/2 cup chopped tomatoes
  • 1/4 cup sliced black olives
  • 1/4 cup chopped green onions
  • Tortilla chips, for serving


  1. In a large skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain any excess grease.
  2. Add the taco seasoning mix and water according to the package instructions. Cook for an additional 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  3. In a microwave-safe dish or a small saucepan, heat the refried beans until warm.
  4. Spread the warm refried beans evenly on the bottom of a 9x13-inch baking dish.
  5. In a bowl, mix together the sour cream and salsa until well combined. Spread the sour cream mixture on top of the beans.
  6. Sprinkle the shredded cheese evenly over the sour cream layer.
  7. Next, layer the cooked ground beef on top of the cheese.
  8. Sprinkle the shredded lettuce, chopped tomatoes, sliced black olives, and chopped green onions over the beef layer.
