Ingredients
- 2 cups mascarpone cheese
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup espresso liqueur
- 2 tablespoons cocoa powder
- 2 tablespoons cocoa powder
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon almond extract
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1 package Italian ladyfingers
- 1/2 cup strong brewed coffee
Directions
- In a medium bowl, mix together the mascarpone cheese, sugar, liqueur, cocoa powder and cinnamon until combined.
- In a separate bowl, whip the heavy cream, vanilla and almond extracts until soft peaks form.
- Fold the whipped cream into the mascarpone mixture.
- In a 9x13 inch pan, layer half of the ladyfingers in the bottom and spoon half of the coffee over the ladyfingers.
- Spread half of the mascarpone mixture over the ladyfingers.
- Repeat the layers with the remaining ladyfingers and coffee, then top with the remaining mascarpone mixture.
- Cover the pan with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or overnight.
- Serve the tiramisu chilled.
