  • 1/4 cup brandy
  • 1/4 cup sugar (for coating)

Directions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.

  3. Stir in the cinnamon, anise seeds, and brandy until evenly incorporated.

  5. Divide the dough into two portions and shape each into a disk. Wrap in plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
