Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup raspberry jam

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease two baking sheets.
  2. In a medium bowl, sift together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In a large bowl, cream together the sugar and butter until light and fluffy. Beat in the vanilla extract and eggs until evenly mixed.
  4. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and mix until a soft dough is formed.
  5. Roll the dough into 1-inch balls and place them on the prepared baking sheets. Make an indentation in the center of each cookie with your finger.
  6. Fill the indentations with raspberry jam.
  7. Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until golden brown.
  8. Cool on a wire rack before serving.
