Ingredients
- 2 cups freshly-picked figs, chopped
- 1/2 cup toasted almonds, finely chopped
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 cup butter, melted
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350°F.
- In a medium bowl, combine the figs, almonds, vanilla extract, flour, sugar, baking powder and salt. Mix until ingredients are fully incorporated.
- Add melted butter and mix until fully combined.
- Drop dough by tablespoonfuls onto parchment-lined baking sheets. Bake for 15 minutes, or until golden brown.
- Allow to cool before serving.
