Ingredients

  • 2 cups freshly-picked figs, chopped
  • 1/2 cup toasted almonds, finely chopped
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  2. In a medium bowl, combine the figs, almonds, vanilla extract, flour, sugar, baking powder and salt. Mix until ingredients are fully incorporated.
  3. Add melted butter and mix until fully combined.
  4. Drop dough by tablespoonfuls onto parchment-lined baking sheets. Bake for 15 minutes, or until golden brown.
  5. Allow to cool before serving.
