Bring a pot of water to a boil and add the lentils. Simmer for 15 minutes, or until tender. Drain and set aside to cool.
In a large bowl, mix together the onion, bell pepper, mushrooms, garlic, oats, wheat germ, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, oregano, thyme, black pepper, and salt.
Add the lentils and parsley and mix until well combined.
Transfer the mixture to a 9x5 inch loaf pan and press down firmly.
Bake in preheated oven for 30 minutes, or until golden brown.
Let cool for 10 minutes before serving.
