- 1 pound ground chicken
- 1 teaspoon chili powder
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/3 cup salsa
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro
- 1/2 cup shredded Mexican cheese blend
- 12 6-inch corn tortillas
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
Directions
- In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground chicken until it is cooked through, about 8 minutes.
- Add the chili powder, garlic powder, cumin, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper to the chicken and stir to combine.
- Add the salsa, cilantro, and cheese to the chicken and stir until the cheese is melted. Remove from heat and set aside.
- Brush the tortillas lightly with the vegetable oil on both sides.
- Spoon 2 tablespoons of the chicken mixture into the center of each tortilla and roll into a taquito shape.
- Place the taquitos in the air-fryer basket and cook for 10 minutes at 400°F, flipping once halfway through cooking.
- Serve the taquitos with your favorite toppings, such as guacamole, sour cream, and chopped fresh cilantro.
