  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/3 cup salsa
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro
  • 1/2 cup shredded Mexican cheese blend
  • 12 6-inch corn tortillas
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil

Directions

  1. In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground chicken until it is cooked through, about 8 minutes.
  2. Add the chili powder, garlic powder, cumin, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper to the chicken and stir to combine.
  3. Add the salsa, cilantro, and cheese to the chicken and stir until the cheese is melted. Remove from heat and set aside.
  4. Brush the tortillas lightly with the vegetable oil on both sides.
  5. Spoon 2 tablespoons of the chicken mixture into the center of each tortilla and roll into a taquito shape.
  6. Place the taquitos in the air-fryer basket and cook for 10 minutes at 400°F, flipping once halfway through cooking.
  7. Serve the taquitos with your favorite toppings, such as guacamole, sour cream, and chopped fresh cilantro.
