In a large skillet, cook beef and onion over medium heat until beef is browned. Drain fat. Add garlic, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning. Simmer for 5 minutes.
In a 9x13 inch baking dish, spread a thin layer of sauce. Arrange 6 lasagna noodles over sauce.
In a medium bowl, mix ricotta cheese, Parmesan cheese, and 1 cup of mozzarella cheese. Spread over noodles.
Top with remaining sauce and noodles. Sprinkle with remaining mozzarella cheese.
Bake in preheated oven for 25 minutes, or until cheese is melted and bubbly.
