Ingredients

  • 1 package frozen puff pastry (thawed)
  • 1 lb ground beef or lamb
  • 1 onion (finely chopped)
  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 tbsp curry powder
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 1 tsp turmeric
  • 1/2 cup frozen peas
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 egg (beaten)

Directions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F.
  2. In a skillet, brown the ground meat with the onion and garlic until cooked through.
  3. Add the curry powder, cumin, turmeric, peas, salt, and pepper to the meat mixture and stir to combine.

  6. Roll out the second sheet of puff pastry and place it on top of the meat mixture, crimping the edges to seal.
  7. Brush the top of the pie with the beaten egg.
