Ingredients
- 1 can (15 ounces) red beans, drained and rinsed
- 1 can (15 ounces) black beans, drained and rinsed
- 1 can (15 ounces) pinto beans, drained and rinsed
- 1 can (15 ounces) diced tomatoes
- 1 can (4 ounces) diced green chiles
- 1 can (15 ounces) tomato sauce
- 1 tablespoon chili powder
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Optional toppings: sour cream, shredded cheese, diced onions, diced jalapenos, cilantro
Directions
- In a large pot over medium heat, combine the red beans, black beans, pinto beans, diced tomatoes, green chiles, tomato sauce, chili powder, garlic powder, and onion powder.
- Bring the mixture to a boil, reduce the heat, and simmer for 15 minutes.
- Season the chili with salt and pepper, to taste.
- Serve the chili hot, with your favorite toppings.
