Ingredients

  • 1 package of zavioli pasta
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 2 cups spinach, chopped
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup white wine
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Directions

  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook the zavioli according to package directions. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the onion and garlic and cook until softened, about 5 minutes.
  3. Stir in the white wine and cook until reduced, about 2 minutes.
  4. Stir in the spinach and cook until wilted, about 2 minutes.
  5. Stir in the ricotta cheese and cream and season with salt and pepper. Cook until the sauce is thickened, about 5 minutes.
  6. Add the cooked zavioli to the sauce and stir to combine. Cook for an additional 2 minutes.
  7. Serve the zavioli with parmesan cheese and enjoy!
