Ingredients

  • 1 lb. bulk pork sausage
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 3 cups milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Directions

  1. In a large skillet, cook the sausage over medium heat until browned and crumbly, about 7 minutes.
  2. Stir in the flour and cook for 1 minute.
  3. Gradually stir in the milk and bring to a simmer. Cook, stirring constantly, until the gravy thickens, about 8 minutes.
  4. Stir in the garlic powder, onion powder, pepper, and salt. Cook for 2 minutes more.
