Ingredients

  • 2 cups of all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon of sugar
  • 1 teaspoon of salt
  • 2 tablespoons of baking powder
  • 2 tablespoons of active dry yeast
  • 1 and 1/4 cup of warm water
  • 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil

Directions

  1. In a medium bowl, mix together the flour, sugar, salt, baking powder, and active dry yeast.
  2. In a small bowl, mix together the warm water and vegetable oil.
  3. Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and mix until everything is well combined.
  4. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and let the mixture rise for about 30 minutes.
  5. Once the mixture has doubled in size, heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat.
  6. Grease the skillet with a little oil and pour about 1/4 cup of the batter into the skillet.
  7. Cook the pancake on both sides until it is golden brown.
  8. Repeat with the remaining batter.
