Ingredients

  • 1 head of cauliflower, cut into florets
  • 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil
  • 1 teaspoon of cumin powder
  • 1 teaspoon of coriander powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon of turmeric powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon of chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon of garam masala
  • 1/2 teaspoon of salt
  • 2 tablespoons of chopped fresh cilantro

Directions

  1. Heat the oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Add the cauliflower florets to the pan and stir-fry until golden brown, about 8 minutes.
  3. Add the cumin, coriander, turmeric, chili powder, garam masala and salt. Stir-fry until the spices are fragrant, about 1 minute.
  4. Turn the heat to low and cover the pan. Cook for about 10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the cauliflower is tender.
  5. Uncover the pan and turn the heat up to medium-high. Stir-fry for a few more minutes to evaporate any excess liquid.
  6. Remove from heat and stir in the cilantro. Serve hot.
