  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 2 tablespoons instant coffee powder
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract


  1. In a medium saucepan, combine the cream, milk, sugar, and cinnamon. Heat over medium-high heat until the mixture just begins to boil.
  2. Reduce the heat to low and simmer for 5 minutes. Remove from heat and stir in the instant coffee powder and vanilla extract.
  3. Pour the mixture into a shallow dish and place in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours, or overnight.
  4. When ready to serve, remove the mixture from the refrigerator and pour into an ice cream maker. Process according to the manufacturer's instructions.
  5. Transfer the mixture to a freezer-safe container and place in the freezer for at least 2 hours before serving.
