Ingredients

  • 1 whole salmon, cleaned and scaled
  • 1 tablespoon of salt
  • 2 tablespoons of white vinegar
  • 1 lemon, sliced
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 2 tablespoons of fresh dill, chopped
  • 3 tablespoons of olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Directions

  1. In a large pot, bring the salt, vinegar, and 4 cups of water to a boil.
  2. Add the salmon to the boiling liquid and reduce the heat to a simmer.
  3. Simmer for 10 minutes.
  4. Remove the salmon from the pot and set aside.
  5. In a medium bowl, mix together the lemon, onion, dill, olive oil, salt, and pepper.
  6. Pour the mixture over the salmon and let it sit for 10 minutes.
  7. Preheat the oven to 350°F.
  8. Place the salmon on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  9. Bake for 10 minutes.
  10. Serve with your favorite sides.
