Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup softened butter
  • 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 and 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 3/4 cup white chocolate chips

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).
  2. In a large bowl, cream together the butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until smooth.
  3. Beat in the vanilla and egg until well blended.
  4. In a separate bowl, stir together the flour, baking soda, and salt; gradually stir into the creamed mixture.
  5. Mix in the white chocolate chips.
  6. Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheets.
  7. Bake for 8 to 10 minutes in the preheated oven. Allow cookies to cool on baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
