Ingredients
- 1 lb. Lamb, cubed
- 1 Onion, finely chopped
- 3 Carrots, chopped
- 3 cloves Garlic, minced
- 1 cup Rice, uncooked
- 2 tablespoons Olive Oil
- 1 teaspoon Cumin
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- 1 teaspoon Black Pepper
- 2 cups Water
Directions
- In a large pot, heat the olive oil over medium heat.
- Add the lamb and cook until it is browned.
- Add the onion, carrots, garlic, and spices, and cook until the vegetables are softened.
- Add the rice and stir to combine.
- Add the water and bring to a boil.
- Reduce the heat and simmer, covered, for 20-25 minutes or until the rice is cooked and all the liquid has been absorbed.
- Serve hot.
