Ingredients
1 lb ground Italian sausage
1/2 cup diced onion
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 can (14.5 oz) diced tomatoes
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
1 can (8 oz) tomato sauce
1/2 cup sliced black olives
1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
1/2 cup shredded Parmesan cheese
1/2 cup biscuit mix
1/4 cup melted butter
Directions
Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F.
In a large skillet, cook the sausage, onion, and garlic over medium heat until the sausage is cooked through and the onion is translucent.
Add the diced tomatoes, Italian seasoning, and red pepper flakes and cook for an additional 5 minutes.
Add the tomato sauce and olives and stir to combine.
Pour the mixture into a greased 9-inch pie plate.
Sprinkle the mozzarella and Parmesan cheese over the top.
In a small bowl, combine the biscuit mix and melted butter until a crumbly mixture forms.
Sprinkle the biscuit mixture over the top of the pizza pot pie.
Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the top is golden brown.
Let cool for 5 minutes before serving.

This pizza pot pie can be made ahead of time and frozen for up to 3 months.
You can use any type of ground meat in this recipe, such as ground beef, turkey, or chicken.
Feel free to use any type of cheese you like, such as cheddar, provolone, or even vegan cheese.
You can also add other ingredients to the filling, such as mushrooms, bell peppers, spinach, or artichokes.
